Summary/Abstract: The last century of the Ottoman Empire is expressed as a period of decline. During this period, an intensive migration to Anatolia from the lost territories is seen. Manisa district and its surroundings were demographically affected by these migrations. In this study, Crimea- and Caucasus-origin immigrants who settled in Manisa district between the years of 1860-1876 will be discussed. Firstly, information related to the number of immigrants according to the records of the Ottoman Archives will be presented. Then various aspects of the settlement process will be examined.
