Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the credit activity of the Yuzov department of the National bank in the beginning of the 20th century. It reviews the role of this branch in providing the entrepreneurs of the city with credit. The author seeks to reveal the circle of borrowers of this department as well as to define the dimension of means given by the branch.
