Summary/Abstract: A series of Roman graves, both of inhumation and cremation, with rich and varied inventory were discovered during the 2008-2011 excavations for archaeological discharging of some properties located in Alba Iulia-Dealul Furcilor, ”Podei” area. Together with different offerings, 77 coins were also discovered, and they were categorised according to their issuers, from Vespasian to Gordian III. 51 coins come straight from graves (25 from cremation graves, out of which 20 such pieces come from ustrinum graves and 5 from bustum graves; 26 from inhumation graves, out of which 19 in simple graves and 6 in brick sarcophagus).
