Summary/Abstract: Non-governmental organizations, that provide different socio-educational services for community, are becoming more and more recognized nowadays. The successful activity of non-governmental organizations is based on volunteers’ work. Volunteer is a person, who dedicates his time to providing help for a community members, who does not receive a reward for his/her work, but takes responsibility for volunteer work, seeking for self improvement, for new experience, for moral benefit, which he / she shares with a community [7]. Volunteers often switch into non-governmental organizations’ activity. Young volunteers are actively participating in the foundation of education system and a system of social help. Socio-educational work of young volunteers takes part in youth institutions of social pedagogical care, community centers, recreation organizations. Volunteers provide help by different means: they work with children in day centers, recreation centers, organize their leisure time, provide consultations by phone, organize educational seminars, etc. Today‘s volunteer organization‘s mission has become even more important. Their contribution to the processes of society welfare creation is of a major importance, especially in the context of European integration. It is necessary to support and promote volunteering on various levels (national, regional, institutional). However, another factor that greatly influences the continuance of volunteer‘s work is an organization, where a volunteer works. That is why non-governmental organizations should constantly solve the questions of volunteers‘motivation. The system of practical work with volunteers has not been created yet. There is also a lack of scientific researches on the topic of volunteers‘work, their motivation factors. The phenomena of volunteers had been ignored in the academic context up to the end of XX century when separate scientists started to inquire it. So the volunteers‘work stimulation has not been analyzed much, that is why the research problem is concentrated on several questions: which major motives stimulate young people to switch into volunteer work, what are the most effective means to stimulate the continuance of volunteers’ work. The object of the research – Motivation of young volunteers for continuing socio-educational work with children. The aim of the research – to reveal the ways of stimulation of young volunteers for continuing socio-educational work with children.
