Closed real estate funds as a new form of investing on the Polish real estate market

Summary/Abstract: The development of capital market is connected with new investment forms’ creation and use. Real estate funds emerged and gained popularity offering investment opportunities similar to real estate’s ones but with avoidance of most drawbacks connected with this kind of investment. In Poland there is only possibility to create a close-end real estate funds. The first funds were established in 2004, after a few unsuccessful earlier attempts. As long as it is new form of investment on the capital market authors of the article aimed in comparing investment strategies and their effects with investors expectations.
