Summary/Abstract: The migration article by Rossitsa Rangelova and Katia Vladimirova, appearing in this issue of South-East Europe Review for Labour and Social Affairs , is, in our opinion, an excellent and outstanding article regarding the vastness, depth and variety concerning the varying patterns of migration occurring with Bulgaria. The purpose of this response is not to disagree or take issue with individual points made by Rangelova and Vladimirova. Instead, we wish to clarify what we feel may be an unintentional misinterpretation by the authors regarding our previous article entitled 'Bulgarian emigration – a closer look'.
