Summary/Abstract: The Article analyses the main provisions of the European Union legislative reform in the field of trade mark rights contained in the Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council to approximate the laws of the Member States relating to trade marks and in the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Regulation (EC) No 207/2009 on the Community trade mark and their possible impact on Romanian trade mark legislation, leading to its improvement.
