Summary/Abstract: Changes of prime ministerial models in Europe and in Hungary In the first part of his article the author endeavours to introduce the following theoretical notions: political dynamics, political environment and political leaders. Investigating the international literature his final conclusion was that we have to get rid of two fundamental dilutions. The first one the misconception that the political leaders determine their political environment. The second incorrect thesis is that political environment can one-sidedly influence the decisions and the changes of the personality of the political leaders. According to the author’s there two theses are not acceptable. Instead of that he offers new methodological and investigating perspectives which can blind the two theses and he presents a different thesis: environment and political personality dynamicly determine each other. Then he investigates four western countries: Great-Britain, US A, Italy and Spain. He proves that the politicians of these countries have changed and accommodated to the challenges of the social environment meanwhile they formed the political and social arena too.
