Summary/Abstract: Influenced by faith, the believer reflects the will of God in everything he does, his entire activity being sometimes dominated by his religious life. Psychology is concerned in this respect with how The Holy God is the believer’s life. The psychology involved in shaping the contemporary moral conscience plays a part in building an image of man characteristic for a society at a particular point in time. The psychoanalytic concept of sin is considered to be an inadequacy between satisfying one's pulsions and the social requirements of the superego, yet it is interesting to investigate the way in which a certain personal pulsion structure occurs, which is to be used in a spiritual analysis of the passions. Christian teaching tells us that the devil is the primary tempter of mankind; thus, the demonic reality is present both in the inner temptation, being given by the pulsional needs, and in the external temptation, coming from the world and being given by the reality needs.
