Summary/Abstract: In this article the author tries to point out the interest of the youth members of the IC for this institution as well as their interest in changes in the functioning of the Islamic Community as the umbrella organization and the community of Muslims in BiH and the Bosniaks who live abroad. Along with the analysis of the current condition and relations within the institutions of the Islamic Community, the author also stresses that the Islamic Community should be an institution that employs young people, who would, on their part, contribute in improving the quality of spiritual and cultural life of Muslims. With this in mind we carried out a questionnaire amongst the students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo and the Faculty of Philosophy in Tuzla. The results show that majority of youth is not satisfied with the work of the Islamic Community specifically with the number of projects offered for the young people. Besides pointing out the need for more serious consideration for the issues of youth, the article also attempts to answer the question as of to what extent are the young people satisfied with the work of the Islamic Community and to what degree are they qualified and prepared to change the present conditions and participate in creating a better future for students acquiring their education within the institutions of the IC, but also for those who graduated from other institutions.
