Summary/Abstract: Understanding historical currents and observing the changes that take place in the domain of social reality as an important prerequisite for theological contemplation, abstraction, and conclusion, are the qualities of serious and devoted theologians. Such an approach was the characteristic of Christian theologian Karl Rahner, who was a colossal intellectual and spiritual figure in the field of Christian theology of the twentieth century, whose theological system is the focus of interest of our article. The article before us has no intention of reconstructing all stages of maturation of Rahner’s theology of religion, and therefore its inclusive model, but ratherfocus instead on the most important categories of its theology, giving a rather modest contribution in this respect.
