Summary/Abstract: In the first part of the article all differences between I. Fisher’s and G. Miller’s wordlists are collected and analyzed. In the second part of the article we show that the study of the place of accent in these lists proves that the list of I.Fisher is not a simple copy of G. Miller’s one. The place of accent in these lists coincides with the place of accent in etymological analogues of these words in Komi-Yazva language and, seemingly, this accentuation must be reconstructed on the Proto- Permian level. In the third part of the article the reasons for the transfer of Udmurt vowel phoneme are analyzed with help of various German graphemes.
