Summary/Abstract: For the efficient information processing a modern company needs modern and effective IT systems. Such systems are implemented in a company by the IT project. The mail goal of this paper is to characterize IT project and factors determining its success (as well as the reasons of its failure). This paper also presents the order of project’s phases and strategies and methodologies of systems implementation.
