APPLYING SPATIAL DESCRIPTION IN BUSINESS MODELLING TOOLS

Summary/Abstract: The paper concerns Business Modelling Processes. There is a proposal of using Spatial Description, based on Spatial Information Systems Methodology to support Business Processes Modelling, data collecting, Processes Visualization and Processes Development. The article contains the model of integration of three kinds of systems: Business Modelling Tools, Integrated Information Systems such as ERP, BI, CRM, etc. and Spatial Description Tools. Applied Spatial Description Tools can be used for the creation of different kinds of maps. It is possible to prepare maps of enterprises (different kinds of object layers), which can show actual status of processes realisation or future maps, which can be prepared for planning business activity.
