Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of the survey of the attitudes of basic school teachers and students of faculties of education towards changes or intended changes in school education that have been invented in reaction to changes in the society. The data were obtained in a questionnaire survey of 553 teachers from 128 schools from the whole country. The survey shows that teachers perceive the need for change. They have, however, very different opinions on the changes already implemented and on the future priorities.
