Summary/Abstract: Our study undertakes to analyze the particularities of the emigrational phenomenon from Romania after 1989, how Romanians relate to each other from cultural and identity stands, the difficulties of integration into the host-countries against the background of the immigrated-minorities protection policies of the European Union. To conclude, I showed that the receiving countries (which are not socially homogenous) do not apply the same forms of social insertion, but their general objective (in compliance with the principles of coexistence in the community space) is the deletion of legal, cultural, linguistic etc. impairments to emigrants’ self-assertion, prejudice fading-away and discrimination eradication.
