Summary/Abstract: It really is amazing how varied, full of unexpected convergences within time and internal-space, the life of two such outstanding artists, as PRZYBYSZEWSKI and RILKE were in their time, took its course. The present reflections are, against this background, conceived as a second, additional part to the essay Stanisław Przybyszewski (1868–1927) and Rainer Maria Rilke (1875–1926): an encounter that never occurred? and are, this time, devoted nearly entirely to a closer look at the specific relations of the work and of the creative spirit of both artists with regard to MAETERLINCK’s debut work, the collection of poems Serres chaudes (1889), and especially the poem Ame.
