On the genesis of the autobiographical gesture in literary discourse

Summary/Abstract: The paper studies the theoretical and literary-historical aspect of autobiographical writing, drawing from French theories. It attempts to define the character and content of the concept of autobigraphical writing, deals with the problematics of authorial subject, touches upon the problem of historiography, genre characteristics and reception. It briefly describes the development of autobiography in the last two decades.
