Selected factors of the regional capital determining investment decisions of the companies from the textile and clothing sector from Łódź Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: Due to the fact that the textile and clothing sector is one of smart specializations of Łódź Voivodeship, it is necessary to continuously supervise and modify those factors of the regional capital that determine the functioning of the companies in this sector in order to create the appropriate conditions for their innovative development. In further perspective it influences the innovative development of Łodź Voivodeship and strengthen its position both on the national and international arena. The aim of the article is to show, on an example of survey results, priority factors of the regional capital for companies from the textile and clothing sector and external support which is preferred by entrepreneurs. Next the paper identifies the mechanisms that require modification in order to enhance key, according to entrepreneurs, factors of the regional capital.
