Summary/Abstract: The specialist of any sphere is responsible for the preservation and rational development of a nation's cultural peculiarity in the fast-shifting sociocultural environment. Besides, a person has to consider the integration into the changing society. Mere vocational qualification is not sufficient for such a mission. It requires vocational maturity of a future specialist, which would unite the individual's cultural education and the improvement of vocational qualification into a unified entirety. Maturity [7] embodies the individual's vocational and personal improvement [6] at various periods of socal maturity [8]. Consequently, personal maturity is a continuous process and a prerequisite for the spread in the environment. This also refers to the vocational studies at an institution of higher education. In relating vocational maturity with the individual's cultural education the significance of creativity arises, as individual culture changes in accordance with the trainee's self-expression. Expression is based on creative activity. Thus, the interdependence of a future specialist's vocational maturity and creativity as well as a topical pedagogical problem are revealed. In practice the relationship between creativity and vocational maturity depends on various factors. Consequently, it stimulates the analysis of the factors influencing objective relationship and interdependence, which adjusts study peculiarities and results. Thus, the aim of the article is to reveal the interdependence of a future specialist's vocational maturity and creativity in the study process. The problem is analyzed in accordance with the constructional theory provisions. The research was carried out in 2005-2006 at Vilnius pedagogical university and vilnius college of higher education (n = 718). The pedagogical experiment was organized at Vilnius college by training landscape gardening and design engineers. The obtained data confirmed that the interdependence of a future specialist's vocational maturity and creativity is a prerequisite for vocational training adjusting study modeling at an institution of higher education. The problem arises in assessing cultural peculiarities, development factors and tendencies of a democratic society. It turned out that the most favourable conditions to adjust future specialists' vocational maturity are formed by studying subjects, since personal creative potential is exposed in this process. The entirety of research results proved that a future specialist's vocational maturity at an institution of higher education in a democratic society is adjusted by his/her creativity; the interdependence of creativity and vocational maturity is adjusted and stimulated by subject studies modeling based on the unity of the individual's cultural education and vocational training.
