Some regional adverbial voices

Summary/Abstract: This paper points out, for the first time, some regional adverbial voices. Their existence is not certified in the usual dictionaries or in Romanian dialectal atlases. The compound adverbs dindeal, dinvale, diladeal, dilavale, and the adverbial phrases built with the prepositions de, pe, de pe are used in a limited area, in the patois of the author’s native village from the south-western side of Gorj county, located near 848 ALR point Strehaia. These specific adverbial forms referred to the position and the spatial orientation, in relation to the relief of the location, not the cardinal points.
