Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the Dayton Peace Agreement, it’s strengths and weaknesses, promoting the idea that, according to Dayton Agreement, Bosnia-Herzegovina, by it’s state organization, is in between federation and highly decentralized unitary state. Special attention is paid to position of High Representative in B & H, as well as to the issue of sovereignty of Bosnia-Herzegovina, in the context of Dayton Agreement. The author comes to conclusion that Dayton Agreement, in spite of it’s weaknesses and constructive mistakes, has potential for integration of Bosnia-Herzegovina and it’s transformation into the modern and functional European State.
