Re-Consideration of Ideology, Ethnicity and the Role of Religion in B&H

Summary/Abstract: In this paper author reflects on recent sociological (theoretical) approaches in understanding “Ideology”, “Ethnicity” and “Religion”, as well as its possible application in contemporary Bosnian context. The departure points are referential theoretical frameworks offered in writings of Pierre Bourdieu, Roger Brubaker and Gustav Guizzardi. If one intends to make step forward instead of sheer description, the rethinking of “old” concepts and processes needs to be perceived as an imperative.
