Summary/Abstract: After Mychail Saakashvilli’s election as head of the State, Georgia has entered a process of political changes towards the West. Nevertheless it still depends economically on Russia. Will it succeed to find the proper balance between the two, to solve its inner problems and to avoid the military conflicts with the separatist region of Abkhazia?
