Summary/Abstract: Are opinion polls regarding literature’s value objective? Do they really show the actual state / opinion / situation on a given subject in a given moment? The author doubts it and argues tat these polls are a trick meant to “democratize” criticism, excluding the artistic value of art and actually demolishing aesthetic criteria.
