Supporting procedure of the decision processes for regional authorities in the area of advanced technologies with the example of application in the Ma

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to describe the supporting procedures of the decision processes for regional authorities in the area of advanced technologies. In particular, components of elaborated procedure were analysed, namely determining the position of a region, the identification of changes directions in a region, distance and development tendencies, the recognition of regional specialization in the area of advanced technologies and strengths and weaknesses of innovativeness. The investigation of innovativeness was done with the use of multidimensional comparative analysis and the tool for the evaluation support in the dynamic system. The discussion ends with the presentation of results of analysis with particular consideration of the Mazovian region.
