Creation and development of intellectual capital in Lodz field of science

Summary/Abstract: Intellectual capital is the subject of debates for theorists and practitioners. Ambiguity in the description of intellectual capital requires the independent organization of the problem. Therefore the typology of intellectual capital was reviewed in a synthetic way in the field of science taking into consideration the key stream of research on intellectual capital in enterprises, which “Report of Konrad” belongs to. Furthermore, this reality is different from science reality. The science perception of intellectual capital is conditioned by knowledge advancement. This article is an attempt to describe intellectual capital in the field of science in the light of research in Lodz and Lodz region.
