Financing of education systems in European Union countries

Summary/Abstract: This article is about the ways of financing education systems in chosen European countries. The European Union does not state common education policy for all membership countries, instead it creates education standards, which are used by education systems of individual countries. The analysis of management and education systems in the European Union countries shows their significant differentiation. Education in these countries is mainly financed from public funds.
