Summary/Abstract: The article presents Sovereign Wealth Funds in the context of government finance management. The main objective of the paper is to describe economic and finance benefits that these innovative investment vehicles provide to the domestic economy. Sovereign Wealth Funds are new financial mechanisms of economic policy that help countries to achieve their goals in the global economy at the beginning of XXI century.
