Qualifications of manager as the main determinant of situational leadership

Summary/Abstract: The article is a review of the organizational leadership concepts and models in the search for the effectiveness factors in different social situations. The analyzed outcomes indicate that the specific features and skills play an important role in the socio-cultural conditions. In addition to the presented theories there is a thesis that maybe in some situations the leadership is rather the result of the phenomenon of escaping from responsibility than the specific features of leader or social expectations.
