Summary/Abstract: The article presents issues related to the establishment and operation of a crossborder region. Cooperation between representatives of both communities must be caused by a specific stimulus – it may be the functioning of cross-border national parks. The article includes the characteristics of the EU projects implemented by KPN and KRNAP.
