Regional and local identity as an element of sustainable development of the West Pomeranian region

Summary/Abstract: The idea of sustainable development, particularly its European variant strongly emphasizing unity of socio-economic and natural environment conditions, may become the basis for considerations on desirable directions of the present civilization development. The article presents the problem of building communities of regional and local identities in the context of the implementation of the concept of sustainable development of the West Pomeranian region.
