Summary/Abstract: In this paper we saw that unfold as ideas for changing the condition of the Albanian two Albanian intellectuals and writers, Ernest Koliqi and Branko Merxhani. Both have ideals on how to change the situation, expressed through various literary forms, story and essay. But, the difference is obvious, because while "New Albanian" the real pattern emerges Koliqi, "neo-Albanian" of Merxhan is abstract pattern. Merxhani does not surrender to hopeless reality, he has in mind and knows the fundamentals of Albanian misery, but looks only to the future. His "neo-Albanian" is a being who lives in the future. And, when we think of today will be the future of tomorrow, then his "neo-Albanian" will never live in the present. Therefore, it is abstract pattern Branko Merxhani utopia. Thus, Koliqi accepts reality, Merxhani remains in utopia. "Neo-Albanian" of both remains unrealized project, as idealistic projects remain unrealized, but that radiate hope for the future.
