Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this work is the delineation of the “map” in the literary narrative space of Kadare’s novels, published during the period 1963-1990.The narrative map of these novels has two main textual space dimensions: the referential literary dimension and the fictional literary dimension. Both these dimensions, in some novels of the author expand into a third dimension, which we might call symbolic spatial dimension. The first dimension is built referring to the real places and objects, sites of real objects, whereas the second dimension is built referring to the imaginary places and objects. The two dimensions are composed by interior spaces (closed) and exterior spaces (opened).
