Summary/Abstract: E. Çabej, after his authentic linguistic formation in most pro-minent centers with abundant and distinctive scientific traditions such as in Vienna, Graz and Rome, where he mastered most advanced schools and methods in the linguistics of twentieth century, with ex-clusive consecration started initially the most difficult work: transcrip-tion and transliteration of the oldest monument of Albanian language, Gjon Buzuku’s “Meshari” (1955), making this paper usable for ever-yone who wants to deal with it, and at the same time with a strict scientific accuracy studied insightfully and deeply all linguistic areas: phonetic, morphologic and lexical, thus intertwining whole system. Starting with linguistic facts found in Buzuk’s “Meshari”, he achieved to notice linguistic peculiarities of Albanian language of earlier phase then Buzuk’s, the pre-literally period of our language: the phonetic phenomena of the vocal element e in the front of some words; then highlighted preservation of old consonant clusters in Buzuku such as kl, gl, lk: in words të klenëtë-,gluha-tongue, gjunjëtë-knees, bujku-farmer, ulku – wolf, etc., which at other former writers are reflected in different forms, while are preserved – such as at Buzuku – at the southern edge of Çamërija, in eastern toskërija as well as in the spo-ken forms among Greek Albanians – Arbëresh, and partially among Italian Albanians and those of Ukraine. From grammatical system emphasized the largest number of Albanian neutral forms; preservation of seven name cases, as well as non-extended contractions of adjec-tives with article: i lee-born, i large-far, i afër-near, i shpeshë-fre-quent, i blerë-bought, i shumë-abundant, i dobë-thin, i(e, të) djathë-left, i vobegë-poor; thus without adhering suffix –të, which undoub-tedly is more recent in its formation.
