Summary/Abstract: Collins’s conception rightly describes the relationship between religion and secularism. Belief and science belong to different levels of the discourse, and they need to be compared, not equalized. Belief and science should and could be harmonized in the way suggested by Einstein in his famous saying: “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind”. Collins’s case is quite instructive and motivating as is shows that the mind can reach belief through science.
