The Interlocutor and its Fiction

Summary/Abstract: This paper addresses the communicational framework of discourse. More precisely, it addresses a type of discourse situated within a less “canonical” communicational framework where the participant roles of speaker and addressee remain “unsaturated”. The discursive configurations frequently mentioned by specialists as linguistic output within a non-communicational framework include notes and endophasic discourse. The aim of this paper is to analyze the issue of the (non)communicational framework in literary discourse. An excerpt from Mallarmé will be considered to this end.
