Summary/Abstract: The issue of the direction in which market, market economy and society will continue to develop has become extremely popular based on the globalization and financial-economic crisis. The spells of „deregulation” and „free market” have been subject to total criticism and the opposite mantra – „regulation” is becoming increasingly topical. The ultra-liberals’ experiments proved to be too expensive for taxpayers in the world – around 2 trillion dollars, the social dimensions being difficult to assess. After the non-market real socialism self-collapsed and the super liberal capitalism failed (for a second time in the course of around 90 years) we can do nothing but face and accept the medium model or the so-called „medium/noble/ path.” If common sense, morals and spirit do not triumph with an emphasis on education, science and harmony, we can hardly expect a better future.
