EDITORIAL: COMMUNITY PSYCHOLOGY NEW FIELD IN THE ROMANIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Summary/Abstract: Community Psychology, a relatively new area in contemporary psychology, is known to a lesser extent by the public, by psychology consumers, or by the beneficiaries of psychological services in Romania. There are few practitioners and researchers, even among Romanian psychologists, that act in the conceptual areas of community psychology. In Romania, information about this new specialty dispersed mostly in the academic environment. Data regarding community psychologists’ scientific events, publications, organizations, projects and actions have become attractive through novelty and especially through the chances in the paradigm of Community Psychology.
