Summary/Abstract: The paper hereby presented analyzes the beginning and the rise of the global neo Islamo-Capitalism, a phenomenon that came into existence at the end of the second half of the 20th century and further developed during the 21st. The very phenomenon hasn’t been thoroughly analyzed yet and, within the domestic publications, remains obscure. This essay’s division in four chapters considers the following three problems: reflection of the global economic and political events onto religious life in Bosnia, mechanism of the global neo Islamo- Capitalism’s functioning, and the challenges which the Institution of the Islamic Community confronts in the context of the discussions about possibilities and the ways of its future logical transformation and functioning. While discussing the last mentioned problem, “six mechanism of the engaged and publicly responsible work of the Islamic community” has been proposed, which offer, according to the author’s deep conviction, the ironclad guaranty for the preserving of the authentic as well as justified activities of the Islamic community in our time.
