Determinants of shaping the EPS rateof some companies of food and metal industry − model approach

Summary/Abstract: The article presents variables that determine the net profit per share and an evaluation of the strength and directions of these factors influence in food and metal enterprises. The study included manufacturing companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange for the period 2004-2009. The research suggests the existence of factors both positively and negatively affecting the amount of earnings per share dependent on the industry sector.
