Identification of hazards of business interruption risk in small and medium sized enterprisers

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the essence of business interruption risk in small and medium sized enterprises. The first part of the paper focuses on characteristic of business interruption risk in business activity. The last part indentifies hazards and their financial and non-financial effects that may contribute to unplanned disruption of business in SME sector. The conclusion identifies some activities which could contribute to more effective business interruption risk management of small and medium-sized enterprises.
