Summary/Abstract: The subject of the study is the analysis of regional differences of foreign direct investment in Poland during the period of 2007-2009. The first part of the article deals with the profits and location determinants of inflows of FDI into Poland. The second part presents AT Kearney’s “Ranking of investment attractiveness of Poland (2007-2010)” and regional differences of foreign capital inflow during the period of 2007-2009. For business FDI chooses the urban regions with such infrastructures as: transportation, energy, water, communication, waste management facilities, information, technology and telecommunication. Foreign capital prefers the infrastructure which facilitates the production of goods and services, for example the roads which enable the transport of raw materials to a factory and also the distribution of products which are ready to the markets.
