Summary/Abstract: The current study intends to deal on one side with the problems and theoretical principles of the mission, often approached in the traditional speech of the Christian ecclesiae, and, on the other side, to propose new subjects and directions by which the Church’s action in the pastoralmissionary field tries to respond to the demands of the contemporary society marked by phenomenon as secularization, globalization and religious indifference. For a properly emphasizing of the missionary principles and the specific way in which these are applied, I chose as case study the Orthodox Church St. Parascheva from Brussels.
