Summary/Abstract: Vladimír Körner (1939), the Czech writer of existentionalism orientation, is preoccupated with historical themes (notably the 17th and 19th century), nevertheless the important role in his work plays the theme of a last war year, namely first weeks and months of1945,including the first post-war Spring. At the same time, this periodals or epresents „the troubled year of Moravia“: fightings in a country, lasting war trauma and tragedy, which for along time or even indefinitely violated the fate of the inhabitants. The period from the Spring of 1945 to the Autumn of 1945 Körner depicts as the final chord of the war catastrophy, namely in his proses Adelheid, Zánik samoty Berhof and Zrození horského pramene. They have in common the existentionalism orientation, stress at the general intellectual unrest and the key motif of the end of the last world. This motif is usually used in various forms and is interpreted in various generic versions, however, generally it follows a scheme of a parable.
