Summary/Abstract: Media have enormous power in our contemporary life, politically, socially and culturally; and understanding of the world is basically shaped by the media. The media has an important role in literature representation, as well. Authors’ personalities and their literary works are mediatized trough different media such as movies, video files, videogames, animations and cartoons; the facts about author’s life are open to variable interpretations in newspapers and magazines. Therefore knowledge about media literacy is important for qualitative understanding of classical literature and author’s personalities represented in the media. The aim of this study is examining different representations of classical literature and authors’ personalities in media.
