Summary/Abstract: The article describes the use of animation as one of the ways, how to reduce the tendency of dehumanization in literature lessons and seek for solutions of challenges which brought new communication technologies in the 21st century: information technology, virtual environments and new media. Meaningful watching of animation and its processing can be used as a tool that provides a variety of learning through words, images, motion and sounds. Animation in literature lessons improves learners’ intellectual, emotional and social experiences. Participants in animation making process have a possibility to promote their creativity and knowledge in collaboration with each other in the value-oriented learning process.
