Summary/Abstract: The approach of insults we propose in this paper has three sections: a psychological one, since we consider insults first of all as manifestations of verbal aggressiveness; a lexico-grammatical and pragmatic section, which concerns the structures and the functioning of insults in french and in romanian and a semantic section, which allows us to reveal some cultural differences.
