Effective methods for improvement of flexibility of wages

Summary/Abstract: Flexibility of wages on the level of individual employee and teams is a standard for the development of remuneration systems. The dynamism of the operating conditions on a global scale, especially in conditions of the economic crisis, has extended this requirement to the area of organization. Contemporary conditions pose challenges to flexible solutions in the field of pay systems, which provide the adjustment of the total amount and structure of expenditure on salaries to the company’s financial results and other dynamic socio-economic conditions, and also incorporate pro-innovative mechanisms. Possible solutions concern instruments from the sphere of wages as well as other tools of human capital management system. Due to the varying efficiency and restrictions, it is important to identify conditions that determine flexibility of the remuneration systems.
