Summary/Abstract: Hiring the best employees is no longer a key driver of company’s success. Today you have to hire and “wire”, that is to help build employees and teams effective clusters and communities. Connected knowledge is a competitive advantage over traditional patterns of managing company’s activities. Identifying, assessing and improving those existing communities and clusters in a company is to help a company to perform better in uncertain situations. The goal of the paper is to convince a reader to look closer at values that are hidden in real relations among employees and external parties. Understanding of these relations and influence of such elements of company’s culture as trust on business performance can be given by using the advanced method of social network analysis. SNA visualizes relations and identifies managers with good social capital that is ability to build those most valuable relations based on trust. SNA is a response for monitoring and control in the environment in which there is no room for formal structure, procedures or traditional controls.
